Dear Sirs:
 
	I wish to recommend Sandra Wasko Flood for admission to the graduate

M.A. program in Art at the University of Wisconsin.  Sandra worked with me

in etching for approximately one year, 1973-74.  At that time she was already

prepared in most intaglio techniques, having studied and worked independently

in South America.  In my class she worked in multiple color plate registration,

various techniques in photo intaglio, and in drawing.  I found her a most
 
intelligent and dedicated student;  mature, highly motivated, and flexible.
 
At that time she was working on developing an individual kind of imagery 

based on her Brazilian experiences.  I thought these creative ideas showed 

much promise.  I recommend her highly.
